The Digital Transformation Summit
The Digital Transformation Summit (DTSUMMIT) serves as a pivotal platform for addressing the European Commission’s Digital Compass objectives, focusing on Government, Infrastructures, Skills, and Businesses by 2030. It convenes key stakeholders from the European Commission, Government, Academia, and Industry to deliberate on strategies for achieving a human-centric digital society. The summit covers diverse digital transformation areas such as Health, Manufacturing, Maritime, Smart Cities, Energy, and European Data Spaces, fostering discussions on innovative solutions to digitally empower citizens and businesses while ensuring climate neutrality. Additionally, it addresses horizontal challenges including Artificial Intelligence, Big Data, Cybersecurity, Digital Literacy, Skills, and Social Inclusion, aiming to unlock the full potential of digital transformation. By bringing together policymakers, authorities, industry leaders, researchers, and users, DTSUMMIT offers a unique opportunity for high-level discussions and networking to shape the next digital generation through research and innovation cooperation mechanisms.
ENACT will be participating in the panel session titled “Cognitive Computing Continuum: Connecting 40 billion (IoT) devices with 200ZB of data (in the Cloud)” at the Digital Transformation Summit (DTSUMMIT). This session is of importance in the context of the DTSUMMIT as it addresses critical challenges and opportunities related to the dynamic connectivity of edge-cloud resources and the advancement of intelligence and automation within the edge-cloud continuum. Supported by EC-funded projects from the CL4-2023-DATA-01-04 call and other industry initiatives, this session will feature introductory presentations from ongoing projects and initiatives followed by a panel discussion on thematic topics such as dynamic resource connectivity, deployment of applications/services, AI-based automation, and security within the edge-cloud continuum. With a focus on academia, industry, and researchers, this session aims to foster collaboration and innovation in shaping the future of cognitive computing continuum. ENACT’s participation in this panel underscores our commitment to driving advancements in edge-cloud computing and contributing to the broader digital transformation objectives outlined by the European Commission.
