On March 24th, ENACT had the pleasure of hosting the joint webinar “Turning Cognitive Computing Continuum Innovation into Value: Key Exploitable Results from Horizon Europe Projects”, bringing together six outstanding initiatives from the European Cognitive Computing Continuum portfolio: CoGNETs, EMPYREAN, ENACT, HYPER AI, MYRTUS and SWARMCHESTRATE.
The session offered a valuable opportunity to showcase some of the most mature and promising results emerging from these projects, while placing strong emphasis on their real-world applications, potential beneficiaries, and broader societal and industrial relevance. This practical and impact-oriented perspective helped underline a key message: even in Research and Innovation Actions (RIAs), it is essential to start considering exploitation pathways from the early stages and to actively pursue the valorization of results throughout the project lifecycle.
Beyond presenting technological achievements, the webinar created a collaborative space where innovation could be linked to future adoption, cross-project synergies, and sustainability opportunities. In doing so, it reinforced the importance of looking beyond the research sphere and ensuring that high-value outcomes are positioned to generate long-term impact across Europe’s digital ecosystem.
ENACT is proud to support and promote these kinds of exchanges, which contribute to strengthening the European innovation landscape and to building bridges between research, market needs, and strategic collaboration. The consortium is convinced that such initiatives are instrumental in helping innovative solutions move closer to uptake and deployment.
A special thank you goes to all speakers for their insightful and engaging contributions: Evangelia Pantraki (CoGNETs), Panagiotis Kokkinos (EMPYREAN), Ioanna Kapetanidou and Athanasios Liatifis (ENACT), Michael Loukeris (HYPER AI), Alessandra Bagnato (MYRTUS), and Tamas Kiss (SWARMCHESTRATE). Their presentations made the session especially relevant for audiences interested in the future of AI, edge-cloud infrastructures, and distributed intelligence.
The webinar recording will be released shortly, extending the discussion to an even broader audience and helping disseminate the knowledge shared during this successful event.
