EVS Showcases ENACT at Plug-In Event

Feb 10, 2026

On January 14th, 2026, EVS – with the participation of its brand MOG Technologies – took part in the 9th edition of the Plug-In event, an annual initiative organized by the Escola Superior de Media Artes e Design (ESMAD) that fosters direct engagement between academia and industry. The event brought together final-year students from a range of digital and multimedia programmes with a diverse group of companies in an informal speed-dating and networking format.

The Plug-In event’s primary goal is to connect students with potential professional opportunities, encourage real-world project collaboration and support companies in identifying the skills and profiles best suited to their teams. It offers students a unique platform to explore career paths and engage with industry representatives in a dynamic, conversational setting: a bridge between academic learning and future career progression.

At this year’s edition, EVS presented ENACT, exemplifying how cutting-edge European research translates into practical innovation. The team highlighted ENACT’s contributions to distributed computing architectures, edge-cloud orchestration, and AI-driven system design, showcasing how research outcomes can inspire and inform students poised to enter the professional world. In this way, EVS helped bring the project’s objectives to life for a new generation of technologists and designers.

The presence of ENACT at Plug-In served multiple purposes: not only did it strengthen the project’s existing links with academic environments, but it also demonstrated a commitment to knowledge transfer and talent engagement beyond the consortium, aligning with ENACT’s mission to influence broader technological communities and future innovators.
