We are pleased to announce that ENACT will actively participate in the upcoming “Open Source and Open Collaboration” webinar, hosted by the Eclipse Foundation on 19 September 2024. This virtual event will explore the transformative role of open-source governance and collaborative frameworks in large-scale European research and innovation initiatives.

This online session will bring together open-source practitioners, Eclipse project leaders, researchers, and Horizon Europe beneficiaries to exchange insights on the best practices for launching, maintaining, and scaling open-source initiatives in complex technical domains. From robust documentation and clear governance models to building strong, inclusive communities, the event will showcase how open collaboration enhances both technical outcomes and long-term impact.

ENACT will be featured as a prime example of a Horizon Europe project that embeds open-source principles into the core of its development strategy. By leveraging Eclipse-hosted frameworks, ENACT ensures that its orchestration and AI-based components remain modular, reusable, and interoperable—designed to evolve through community contribution and align with established standards.
