The NexusForum 2025 Summit, held on 5–6 November 2025 at the AREA42 venue in Brussels, brought together Europe’s leading experts in artificial intelligence, cloud and edge infrastructures, sustainability and digital sovereignty. ENACT project was honored to participate in this high-profile event, presenting its vision and progress in orchestrating the cloud–edge-IoT continuum through secure, intelligent and developer-friendly frameworks.
ENACT’s presence at the summit included a dedicated exhibition booth where attendees were able to explore the project’s three use-cases, engage with the team and witness first-hand how cutting-edge research is translated into tangible outcomes. Our partners from Innovalia Association, and our colleagues Diego Ospina and Annedoor Herpels represented ENACT on-site, interacting with visitors and demonstrating how ENACT is advancing distributed intelligence, orchestration and data sovereignty in the computing continuum.
Central themes at NexusForum 2025 included how Europe can reclaim control of its digital infrastructure by ensuring interoperability, trust and scalability across AI, cloud and edge deployments. ENACT’s contributions resonated strongly with these priorities: the project emphasizes adaptive orchestration, secure data-sharing models and developer-centric tooling as foundational elements for next-generation computing systems. By aligning with the event’s strategic agenda, ENACT demonstrated its commitment to supporting Europe’s digital sovereignty and to fostering open, modular ecosystems for innovation.
The two-day summit featured keynote addresses, panel discussions, workshops and round-table sessions that spanned both technological and policy dimensions. Attendees had the opportunity not only to hear about state-of-the-art solutions but also to engage in concrete project showcases and working groups shaping the future of the cloud–edge continuum. For ENACT, being part of this dialogue means strengthening its network of stakeholders, identifying new collaboration opportunities and signaling its readiness for real-world deployment and scale-up.
We extend our sincere thanks to the NexusForum 2025 organizers and the broader community of participants for creating such a dynamic platform. ENACT looks forward to building on the momentum generated in Brussels, advancing our dissemination and exploitation activities, and driving the implementation of resilient, sovereign computing infrastructures across Europe’s digital landscape.
