ENACT to Co-Host Special Panel Session on the Cognitive Computing Continuum at ICE Conference 2025

We are pleased to announce that ENACT will play a central role as host and co-organizer of a high-impact panel session at the upcoming International Conference on Engineering, Technology and Innovation (ICE), taking place in Valencia, Spain, from 16 to 18 June 2025.

As part of ICE’s dynamic programme, ENACT will lead the Special Session SS14: Cognitive Computing Continuum, joining forces with several other pioneering Horizon Europe projects—EMPYREAN, INTEND, SWARMCHESTRATE, MYRTUS, HYPERAI, and COGNETS—all funded under the CL4-2023-DATA-01-04 call focused on edge-cloud continuum technologies.

Chaired by Usman Wajid and co-chaired by Ioanna Kapetanidou, this panel session will dive deep into the next frontier of distributed computing, where intelligence is pushed to the edge and orchestrated dynamically across diverse infrastructures. The session will showcase cutting-edge developments from each participating project, including ENACT’s progress on dynamic orchestration, AI-based resource adaptation, and architecture design for next-generation hyper-distributed platforms.

The session will explore critical challenges and solutions in areas such as:

• Dynamic discovery and connectivity of heterogeneous edge-cloud resources
• Deployment and orchestration of distributed applications and services
