The webinar titled “Future-proof Solutions for Cognition-Enabled Cloud Computing” deep-dived into Europe’s research funding initiatives aimed at fostering breakthroughs in AI-enabled cloud computing. These advancements are envisioned to facilitate self-configuration, self-adjustment, and self-management systems, enhancing performance, reducing costs, bolstering security, and promoting digital sovereignty. The event showcases solutions and frameworks developed by various projects and explores the forthcoming research endeavors necessary to elevate Europe as one of the top contributors to innovative, provider-agnostic, open-source cloud infrastructures. From ENACT, Project Coordinator Alexandros Nizamis is among the distinguished speakers sharing insights into cognitive cloud technologies. The webinar’s agenda comprises three sessions, addressing different aspects such as the types of AI suitable for cognitive cloud and their use cases, strategies for training, deploying, and managing AI within a cognitive cloud, and the upcoming calls for cognitive cloud technologies and use cases.
